Open Question: Opinions on my clear skin routine?
August 28th, 2008I have a severe acne problem and I’m 20 years old, and I have been trying for the past few months to calm it down. Tell me what you think of my regimen:I wash every morning and night with an organic face wash, hopefully making that decision will not strip my skin of its natural moisture and oils.I then moisturize with an organic shea butter moisturizer to get an even tone and it is the best moisturizer I have ever used! It’s by Kiss my face and I love it.I use Burt’s Bees facial exfoliator every Tuesday and Friday which has the ingredient “whitebark” that acts as a natural saliyc acid to reduce acne and it does a wonderful job of making my face feel smooth. I use a deep pore cleansing mud mask every Wednesday.Every other night, I started using a new acne treatment by neutrogena called “2 in 1 fight and fade gel” which is supposed to battle acne and also help fade scars caused by acne.My acne is still horrible. What do you think of my regimen? Granted, I’ve only been doing this particular regimen for over a week now. I should probably give it time, I’m just so frustrated. It might take my skin awhile to get used to my new products?
